about

The narrator sees our subject being held captive inside his own house. The technologies he owns attempt to prevent him from leaving.

lyrics

I want some food
Well how bout you?
A Pibb and a McRib for two
Perfect for a Sunday afternoon

sitting on the couch watching NFL
living standard definition television hell
after the game it’s off to Deep Space Nine
Got my Mellow Yellow, Hello, now I’m feeling fine

How many movies did you see this week?
I’m on a media consumption fucking winning streak
Posting pictures so you all can see

Now on to some tunes:
Ben Folds and Guster for the afternoon
BNL Billy Joel and Hotel Lights
Weezer Cake and Kweller to wrap up the night

How many apps did you grab this week?
I’m on a media consumption fucking winning streak
Posting status so you all can see

Mr Collins, we hardly knew ye
But all that shit went to your head
Mr Collins, we tried to save you
Time to disconnect and go outside instead

about

SiMent Milford, Connecticut

Formidable power-pop band SiMent formed in Milford, CT in 1995 with Dave Novak, Ralph Thompson and Brian McGarry. In 1997, Jason Weaver completed the lineup.

After a nine-year hiatus, SiMent emerged in 2013 to write a new album as a fundraising effort for Brian McGarry's memorial educational fund. "Names" dropped in early 2014, followed by the 2017 EP "Sonata for Six Hands (Donuts for Dinner)".
