Pack up the gear Lets get to the bar It's time to become the next big rock star Don't forget the CDs even though you and me It'll be a surprise if we even sell one tonight But who can blame us, we're having so much fun Trying to get you to sing along And who can blame us for trying to become the next big thing Palm mute guitar Synthesizer hooks We might be the best band in town but we ain't got the looks So call the A&R man Tell him that we need an image change Cause the stars are aligned And, hey man, it's everybody's dream to get signed But who can blame us, we're having so much fun Trying to get you to sing along And who can blame us for trying to become the next big thing We're done playing gigs We've payed our dues We're into rocking stadiums And other large venues Comin' at you in hi-fi polyphony You know the next step for us will be MTV unplugged

Daydreaming 02:52
So we just met each other And I’ve got a good feeling about you And we could just talk about books And there’s other things Id like to know Like how much of you there is go to around And you will never know what it took Daydreaming, can't get you out of my head And how long will it take Before I realize I’m in too deep And you will never know what it took And I’ll gladly take half of you And treat it with the utmost care Cause you will never know what it took

I hope you can understand me when I speak to you I hope that it's not tough to get my point across to you Cause I don't know you (I hope to know you) And I want to know you (Don't walk away) Damn these cultural barriers And damn me for trying to break them down I saw something in your eyes today but neither of us knew what I was trying to say Did you leave your boyfriend all alone back home Did you leave everything behind (everything behind) Cause I've been waiting here the entire time I hope you wouldn't mind If I took you to my favorite coffeeshop and showed you all around my hometown Will I ever see where you grew up? No, I just gotta get my feet down on the ground Damn these cultural barriers And damn me for trying to break them down I saw something in your eyes today but neither of us knew what I was trying to say
4.
Freak Me Out 02:04
they say you freak out easily they say you're not together I believe them I should stay away yet every time you walk by me my guts turn inside out you turn me on (I don't know why) you freak me out (I don't know why) I can't explain your existance and I can't explain my resistance you're the apple off the tree I dare not take a bite better to leave my head in the cold you probably think I might start jumping around and acting stupid yeah you know it's something I'd do they say you freak me out but I don't know why. I gotta stay away from you before I do something I shouldn't do you turn me on (I don't know why) you freak me out (I don't know why) I can't explain your existance and I can't explain my resistance they say you freak me out but I don't know you always freak me out but I don't know you never seem to freak me out and I don't know why

teach me what makes you tick tell me how you get your songs to stick in my head, time after time now I won't come off to skeevy and don't you dare go and leave me I hope you can hang out for a time erin don't walk away hey I've got something to say I've been thinking about it today for what seems like years cause you're so freaky and funky and totally inspirational I've gone to see you a whole three times and you ain't got nothing to prove, but look at me I'm tryin ta be smooth it ain't workin' so tell me what ya think, even if the song stinks - I'll be strong cause I never write songs like these, unless of course I'm trying to please you consider me in your place just lookin' at your face is pretty incredible so let's get a felafel but I won't feel awful if you've got somewhere to be erin don't walk away hey I've got something to say I've been thinking about it today for what seems like years

You Close By 02:57
I think about you all the time Can’t seem to get you out of my mind Every minute we spend together Outdoes the last These last two weeks have Gone by far too fast Of you close by Always a text message away Of you close to me Waking up to a new day And I can’t seem to get enough of you And I can’t seem to get enough of… You’re a beautiful person What more could I ask for? Someone who cares You’re simply amazing. You’re slowly wrapping yourself up In my little world You’re becoming my everything And I love the feeling…
